Former Prichard Water Works and Sewer Board Manager Nia Bradley along with her husband, and two other former employees will soon have their day in court on May 12th.
Nia Bradley’s attorney, Jason Darley, says he is not so sure this case will go to trial in circuit court where the couple appeared today. As for when the federal government might make that decision, Darley says it could be sooner than May 12th. Former Water Board Physical Services Manager Teresa Lewis was also in court, and she received the same trial date. Her attorney, Willie Huntley, also expects something from the federal investigation to come up before May. He says he was recently informed of a sealed indictment but is unsure of who it involves. As for the allegations against Lewis, he does not believe there were any personal charges made.
