The trial of 42-year-old Stephen Shane Greenfield for the murder of 68-year-old homeless man Reginald George Mullaly has started in the Supreme Court in Bathurst .A Supreme Court jury has heard a man bleached a knife and bolt cutters and had taken "significant amounts of drugs" in the week he was accused of stabbing a homeless man to death.

The court heard an argument broke out, and Mr Greenfield told Ms Strong he would, "put her under the bridge like what happened to the bloke under the bridge." "It's important to see how rational he was about what he was doing, and how successful he had been at bleaching anything."
