Kota Kinabalu: Fifteen people were fined a total of RM15,000 by the Magistrate’s Court here, Tuesday, for trespassing into a building construction site here, last month.
They were Mark Dennis, Mohamad Hamdin, Mohd Sheh Samsudin, Md Kadrinsah Kamarshah, Almaajid Ayatim, Azedon Navi, Nur Ain Nadhirah, Sabri Alih, Rosli Jul,Hassan Masilin, Ibrahim Ibnu, Mohd Halimie Alsad, Md Halim Kamarudin, Md Asnam Hashim and Siti Satrah Attu, who appeared before Magistrate Stephanie Sherron Abbie.
The prosecution informed the court that police arrested the 15 during the Ops Pintu conducted in the said area for being on the premises without permission.The 15 requested a lenient sentence while the prosecution applied an adequate sentence. In the same court, a 30-year-old man was sentenced to 12 months’ jail for disposing of stolen jewellery.
