A 25-year-old man was inside C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville for about thirty minutes before staff interacted with him, according to police
Trespasser , revealed to be former student, inside C.W. Baker High School for thirty minutes before he was confronted by staff.
Nora Carson, a neighbor in the area, said the intersection at Virginia Street and East Oneida Street marking the entrance to the district campus was filled with anxious parents for two hours Monday afternoon. They were unable to enter the campus, initially provided with little information.That person was later arrested and identified as Jack Grippe, who police now believe had no ill intent.
According Buckshot, Grippe lied to multiple people inside the high school about who he was, claiming he was a new transfer student. Once he was taken to the main office, Lefancheck said an administrator explained to Grippe that the school would have to contact police, and he got nervous and ran. This prompted the lockdown response from the district.
