Amanda tracks out a long stretch of sunny days!MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Rain is long gone in west Alabama, but the back edge of our latest system is still bringing a few showers to our eastern counties. As our evening progresses, we are drying out and likely won’t see any additional rain for at least a week! Once the rain ends there could be aHopefully you like plenty of sunshine in your forecast because there is a lot of it each day between tomorrow and Saturday! Highs will reach the low and mid 70s Wednesday, which is the first of many quiet and dry days ahead; slightly cooler air will be in place Thursday with highs topping out in the upper 60s to around 70°. Thursday will also be noticeably breezy with wind speeds between 10 and 20 mph throughout the day. That wind will subside by Friday with high temperatures reaching the low and mid 70s once again.There are still a few cooler than normal evenings and early mornings ahead, but no frost or freeze conditions to worry about. Low and mid 40s are possible Thursday, Friday and Saturday early, but afternoon temperatures will quickly soar thanks to abundant sunshine. Saturday will be mostly sunny and Easter Sunday will be partly cloudy... absolutely no rain is in the forecast as temperatures warm into the upper 70s Saturday and low 80s Sunday! Some egg-cellent news for the final weekend of March! Dry weather will continue into early next week as April gets underway. The next chance of rain will likely hold off until at least late in the day next Tuesday... more on this part of the forecast as we get closer!
