The show airs live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas at 7 p.m. Sunday on NBC. Sean"Diddy" Combs will host. This will be Scott's first award show performance since November's Astroworld Festival tragedy that killed ten people. A remix of his song"Goosebumps" is up for top dance/electronic song.that recently played theaters.
Scott has been stepping back into the public eye in the last few weeks. He's featured on the song"Hold That Heat" with Southside and Future and is reportedly prepping his next album,"Utopia." The BBMAs will also feature performances by Megan Thee Stallion, Miranda Lambert and Elle King, Ed Sheeran and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Morgan Wallen is also on the lineup. He was almost universally shunned after video surfaced in 2021 of him saying the N-word.Joey Guerra is the music critic for the Houston Chronicle. He also covers various aspects of pop culture.
