Court records dated Aug. 9 pertaining to the new charges allege Patron harassed a man, yelled and chased him while impersonating a peace officer, causing the man to fear for his safety and that of his girlfriend. In an email, Saskatoon police said they received a report that a man had approached another man and a woman at the mall and had criminally harassed them around 1:15 p.m. on July 30.
Police said the man was identified and charged with impersonating a peace officer and breach of court-imposed conditions.Patron was arrested Aug. 2 and made his first court appearance the next day on two counts each of impersonating a peace officer and breach of court imposed conditions — four charges stemming from incidents on July 29 and Aug. 1.
In the July 29 incident, police were called to a hotel in the 600 block of Spadina Crescent East for a reported disturbance involving a man impersonating a peace officer.
