Travis Pastrana's rallycross car gets Ken Block tribute livery.
Pastrana's Group E race car will be shod in Block's first and now-iconic"snow-camo" livery, which appeared on the rally legend's Subaru WRX STI rally car all the way back in 2005. Back then, the livery used gold DC Shoes logos, but now it's sporting big"KB" letters instead as a tribute to Block.
"Vermont SportsCar's first projects with Ken were his 2005 rally campaign as well as the Gumball 3000 rally," the race car-building shop said in."Ken's idea was to have matching, eye-catching liveries on both cars. So the snow-camo became Ken's first ever livery and we ran it on both his Subaru STI rally car for the 2005 season and on the modified road car he used in the Gumball 3000 rally that same year.
The livery will make its first public appearance on Friday, January 20 during round seven of the Nitro Rallycross series happening in Quebec.
