Public safety and emergency services — police, fire and Emergency Medical Services — will remain in operation, according to city officials.Regular business hours will resume Monday, Dec. 1.3-1-1 will be operational only for urgent animal-related and traffic signal concerns from 8 a.m. – 11 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 27. The Call Center will resume normal operating hours on Friday, Nov. 28, for regular calls.Code Enforcement Officers will be available for inspections and emergency coverage. Downtown parking visitors will enjoy free parking on Thursday, Nov. 27, at all city-operated garages, lots, and on-street meters; on Friday, Nov. 28, free parking will apply only to on-street meters, while garages and lots resume normal operations.Animal Care Services Lobby and Adoption Center will be closed Thursday, but will open Friday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. for a “Black Furday” adoption event.Waste collection and drop-offBitters Brush site at 1800 Wurzbach Parkway will be closed.
