Advice comes as four protest marches are talking place
Tram bosses have warned passengers to avoid Piccadilly Gardens. It comes as police try to control a number of protest marches in the city centre.
The request as come as police have issued a dispersal order for the whole of Manchester city centre until 7pm. It means officers have extra powers to deal with anyone taking part in or causing anti-social behaviour. The Trans Pride Manchester march is also being held and a regular Ukrainian solidarity event and an event organised by the Manchester Palestinian Action regarding the conflict in Gaza.
