Trainwreck follows Amy Townsend, a woman with a history of short-lived relationships, as she navigates a potential romance with orthopedic surgeon Aaron. Taught by her father that committed relationships are unnatural, Amy embraces a carefree lifestyle until her boss assigns her to write a profile about Aaron, forcing her to confront her fear of commitment.
Trainwreck is a movie that centers on Amy, a deeply flawed character who makes reckless decisions in order to emotionally protect herself. Amy Schumer offers her quintessential charm and humor, and she bounces perfectly off her love interest Bill Hader. Her character arc is fantastic and believable. It isn't the best rom-com ever but still worth watching.
