Investigators say a vehicle driven by Erica L. Alley, age 36, of Sandusky, was killed in the collision with a train after reportedly driving around the crossing arm.

The collision occurred at about 8 a.m. Friday at the crossing on Campbell Street, the patrol says. A 2018 Kia driven by Erica Alley was heading north on Campbell Street near North Depot Street when it went around the crossing arm and was hit by the train, troopers say.
