The video features Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones vet Sean Bean starring in his newest period drama as he portrays the role of Thomas Cromwell, the dangerous and all-powerful right-hand man to Henry VIII. The series will be available for streaming on May 1.“Drenched in mystery, suspense, and deception, this four-part drama is an eerie whodunnit adventure set in 16th century England during the dissolution of the monasteries.
Shardlake hails from writer Stephen Butchard and director Justin Chadwick.
