The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have initiated investigations to determine the cause of the crash. Officials stated that communication between both aircraft and the tower was established before the collision. NTSB will analyze the American Airlines aircraft and collaborate with the FAA to provide a comprehensive understanding of the incident.
