Who are the victims of the Lewiston mass shooting?
Joseph Walker was the manager at Schemengees Bar & Grille in Lewiston. He was shot and killed in the mass shooting. Police informed the family that Joseph Walker spent his last moments as a hero.
Authorities have not released the victims' names, but family members have been confirming their deaths. The Governor Baxter School for the Deaf’s executive director says they lost four cherished community members during the Lewiston shootings, adding that the lives of those lost will never be forgotten.The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers says 40-year-old Peyton Brewer Ross, who worked at Bath Iron Works, was among those participating at a cornhole tournament at Schemengees Bar and Grille when he was killed.
“He’s taught so many people over the years how to bowl, and he wasn’t getting paid,” he said. “We’ve really been focused on trying to keep the sport alive, and Bob was really an integral part of that.”
