Tragedy as man, 42, dies in Leeds after being knocked over by car
On Tuesday, July 5, Leeds Live reported a man was fighting for his life in hospital after being hit by a white Audi A4. He was crossing the road at 4.55pm at the junction of Town Street and Wortley Road, and was later taken to hospital with a bad head injury.
Police confirmed an investigation into the incident is being conducted. A spokesperson for the force said: "Police investigating a road traffic collision that took place in Leeds earlier this week have confirmed that the victim has sadly died. "At about 4.55pm Tuesday, a 42-year-old man was crossing the road at the junction of Town Street and Wortley Road in Armley, when he was in collision with a white Audi A4. The man was taken to hospital with a serious head injury but died earlier today .
