Pictures show cars queuing back to Leeds Street
On Monday afternoon, The ECHO was sent pictures of queuing traffic on The Strand in Liverpool City Centre after traffic lights failed. The lights near the junction of the Birkenhead tunnel exit onto the road failed, leading to cars being stuck on the road.
Pictures show cars queuing back along New Quay and Strand Street from Liver Street to Leeds Street.
