Tractor-trailer fire back up traffic on Route 581 in Cumberland County: PennDOT

The fire, which has been put out by emergency crews, was located on Route 581 eastbound near the overpass by 18th Street in Lower Allen Township, according to Fritzi Schreffler, a PennDOT spokesperson. The incident was initially reported through dispatch before 2 p.m. The left and center lanes eastbound are currently open, Schreffler said in an email she sent out around 3:10 p.m.Woman dies in Harrisburg shooting Saturday morning: police
