An “equipment problem on the tracks” between the Coliseum and San Leandro stations has caused 20-minute delays for all trains heading to and from the Berryessa direction. The only routes not impacted are the yellow and red lines.
BART officials first tweeted about the disruption at 5:31 a.m. The issue caused the entire green line to shut down at point, though service was restored just before 8 a.m. This marks the second time in three days BART was forced to shutter at least one of its routes. On Saturday, systemwide "computer and routing issues” caused widespread delays and prompted the transit agency to temporarily halt both the red and green lines.
