PEZA to launch job fair for displaced OFWs COVID19 COVID19Quarantine
MAYNILA - Hinahanda na ng Philippine Economic Zone Authority ang libo-libong job openings para sa mga overseas Filipino worker na nawalan ng trabaho dahil sa coronavirus disease 2019 sa bisa ng isang job fair.
Magkakaroon ng halong virtual at physical job fair ang PEZA ngayong buwan, kung saan karamihan ng mga opening ay galing sa mga business processing outsourcing company na rehistrado sa PEZA. Nakakalap na ng 78,000 job openings ang PEZA noong nakaraang linggo at sinisikap nilang paabutin ito ng 100,000, ayon kay PEZA Director-General Charito Plaza.Ayon pa sa PEZA, mas mataas sa minimum wage ang pasahod ng mga PEZA locator, may mga benepisyo pa tulad ng libreng pabahay, scholarship, at mga training abroad.Ilulunsad ng PEZA ang job fair sa Hulyo 29.
