Dewan Undangan Negeri Sabah di Kota Kinabalu. Terdapat cadangan untuk melantik seorang timbalan perdana menteri dari Sabah atau Sarawak di bawah kerajaan baru pimpinan Muhyiddin Yassin.

Pengasas bersama SASS Andrew Atama Ambrose bagaimanapun berkata, lantikan itu tidak akan membawa apa-apa makna sekiranya individu yang dilantik hanya patuh kepada kerajaan persekutuan. “Jangan harap kesetiaan kami boleh ‘dibeli’ dengan harga yang begitu murah. Hak rakyat Sabah dan Sarawak adalah jauh lebih penting daripada jawatan TPM untuk seorang pemimpin,” katanya kepada FMT.

Jika tidak katanya, ia hanya akan menjadi janji manis kepada wakil rakyat Borneo dalam landskap politik nasional.“Sepanjang minggu lepas, negeri Borneo khasnya, menyaksikan drama politik yang berlaku yang akhirnya tidak membawa apa-apa perubahan ke atas kedudukan mereka. “Menamakan seorang warga Sarawak atau Sabah tidak akan mengendurkan tuntutan rakyat kedua-dua negeri berhubung MA63,” katanya.
