TP-Link debuts new lineup of WiFi 7 supporting routers
, which too is a tri-band WiFi 7 router that delivers speeds over 18Gbps. TP-Link is also aiming for more entertainment applications outside of gaming, with the router capable of supporting 8K content, AR/VR, and home NAS setups.
The key advantage here is that one of the 6GHz bands can be used as a dedicated backhaul to provide more stable signals, even if your phone or notebook doesn’t support WiFi 7 or the 6GHz band currently, TP-Link confirms.
