Shocking dashcam footage captures the moment a pickup truck crashes into a row of sports cars.
There's no shortage of videos showing drivers losing control while leaving Cars and Coffee events, but the crash you're about to see herewas on an entirely different level.
Dashcam footage posted to Instagram byDetails surrounding the crash are still limited, but the incident reportedly occurred in Cypress, Texas. The video begins calmly enough from inside the GT-R; stopped nearby is some serious machinery, including aWithout warning, the GT-R is violently struck from behind by the Tacoma. The impact sends the pickup out of control and directly toward the lineup of exotic cars.
Sliding on its side, the truck slams into the McLaren with enough force to shove the British supercar into the curb before the Tacoma flips back onto its wheels. The stunned driver can then be seen sitting motionless behind the wheel of the battered pickup. The aftermath looks like something out of an action movie.
Debris is scattered across the roadway, and multiple vehicles appear damaged, including an Acura SUV that happened to be caught in the middle of the disaster. The GT-R and McLaren appear to have sustained catastrophic damage that could easily result in both cars being declared total losses. What makes the footage even more surreal is how close several other expensive cars came to being destroyed.
The Tacoma tore through the lineup like a tornado, leaving some vehicles untouched while devastating others. At the moment, there has been no official update regarding injuries. The GT-R driver appears to have escaped unharmed, and hopefully everyone else involved did as well. As painful as it is to see these sorts of cars destroyed, vehicles can be replaced; people cannot.
