Education is one of the pillars in the corporate social responsibly projects of Toyota Motor Philippines through Toyota Motor Philippines Foundation.
With the pandemic changing the landscape of learning, TMP Foundation continued its support for its adopted school, Pulong Santa Cruz Elementary School in Santa Rosa, Laguna, by strengthening the computerization program it had introduced to the school years ago.
To support the requirements for blended learning, TMPF donated 46 brand new laptops for the individual use of teachers in preparing for lesson plans and holding online classes. Teachers utilize virtual classrooms or primary online education platforms such as Zoom, Google Classroom, Messenger, Facebook, and Youtube to host the blended and distance learning.
Toyota Motor Philippines Foundation, Inc. is the social humanitarian arm of Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation . TMPF carries out corporate social responsibility programs categorized under four Pillars: Health, Education, Environment and Community Service. In June 2020, TMP signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Health in support of the Philippine government’s efforts to address the mobility needs of healthcare workers.
