Toxic masculinity: officialavatar director James Cameron labels testosterone 'a toxin'
Avatar director James Cameron claimed that testosterone is"a toxin" that needs to be worked out of one's system in a recent interview.
“I always think of [testosterone] as a toxin that you have to slowly work out of your system," he said. “A lot of things I did earlier, I wouldn’t do — career-wise and just risks that you take as a wild, testosterone-poisoned young man,” Cameron added, reflecting on his earlier choices.The director was referring to his fights with Disney executives over budgeting and the earning potential of his films. According to him, he no longer has shouting matches laced with F-bombs with the executives.
