Lincoln County, Tenn. residents have raised concerns about the fungus growing on homes and vehicles as well as bird feeders, road signs and trees, etc.

Lincoln County residents have raised concerns about the fungus growing on homes and vehicles as well as bird feeders, road signs and trees, etc., resident Christi Long, of Lincoln County, Tennessee, said her residence has been covered in the fungus. Her attorney told the news outlet it’s a growing issue in the area.
Jack Daniel’s currently has six barrelhouses in the county, and is building a seventh one, a company spokesman confirmed. The company has also requested rezone a second property where six more barrelhouses could be built. Donna Willis, a company rep, said 14 additional barrelhouses would bring in $1 million in annual property tax revenue for the county.A judge recently ruled of the barrelhouse does not have the proper permit to be built and that the company would have to halt until it does.
