Tourism Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane announced on Tuesday the COVID-19 relief fund open for applications from small to medium businesses affected by the pandemic.They are eligible if their tourism-related business is impacted by a major slump in visitors due to the coronavirus pandemic.Applications for relief opened on Tuesday and close at the end of May.

The grants will only be open to small and medium enterprises, which the minister described as 'survivalists in nature'.
