Tottenham are reportedly closing in on a double deal for two Bundesliga centre-backs: Wolfsburg’s Micky van de Ven and Bayer Leverkusen’s Edmond Tapsoba.
As a result, Postecoglou is willing to part ways with four Tottenham defenders this summer. They are allegedly Ben Davies, Japhet Tanganga, Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez. Tapsoba actually has a higher value than Van de Ven at €40m , but Brown thinks that both players could end up in north London. “But both of them are on Spurs’ list, and it does look like they might try to sign two centre-backs this summer. So, they may sign them both.”
