.SenSchumer & SenatorDurbin leaders lied about braces used on AR-15-style “pistols” before Thursday’s vote to support a controversial administration ban on the device designed to help handicapped people shoot, according to Second Amendment advocates.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and deputy Dick Durbin gave false analysis of the purpose of the braces and the impact of using them in working to stop a GOP effort to block the ban from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, said the experts.

And Justin Anderson, who is the marketing director for Hyatt Guns of Charlotte, North Carolina, one of the nation’s biggest sellers, said he believes the opponents were simply scaremongering.
