Top Democrats are warning President Biden against restarting the controversial practice of detaining migrant families who cross the U.S. southern border without authorization.

Former Presidents George W. Under current policy, families have been released into the U.S. as they await a court hearing. Authorities track these migrants using an ankle bracelet monitoring device or mandated check-ins.
