PR guru Rick Miramontez’s legendary bash is back at the Carlyle and Julianne Hough and Darren Criss will be hosting celebs at midtown’s Pebble Bar.
The Tonys are getting some uptown funk.
The show’s official black-tie celebration was previously at the Plaza when the awards were based in Midtown, at Radio City Music Hall and the Beacon Theatre.Ariana DeBose hosts this year’s unscripted show uptown at the United Palace Theatre.The party is being presented by City National Bank and will pay homage to “old New York” and “uptown flavor,” we hear.
DKC/O&M’s Rick Miramontez will host his bash at the Carlyle, which could attract talent like Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka.We hear Barry Manilow will get on the piano, and there will be a magician on hand to dazzle guests. Memphis Murphy will spin tunes for fun theater folks who want to dance.Another hot ticket will be Darren Criss and Julianne Hough’s party at Pebble Bar in Midtown.
A number of nominated show’s are holding bashes in Midtown. Here is Judith Light and Audra McDonald, nominated this year for “Ohio State Murders.”Meanwhile, “Shucked,” which earned nine nominations, is hosting a party at the Edison, Page Six hears.
