His recording career got a boost that year with the critically acclaimed album "The Art of Excellence."Bennett and Patti LaBelle entertained the crowd during halftime at Super Bowl XXIX in Miami in 1995.
Lady Gaga performed "Cheek to Cheek" with Bennett at the 57th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles in 2015.Bennett performed at CMA Country Christmas in 2018 in Nashville. His easygoing interpretations of classic standards ushered the pop and jazz of the Great American Songbook into the 21st century.
