The COVID-19 pandemic wiped out far too many small businesses, and many communities are feeling their absence, both culturally and economically.Shopping locally doesn’t cost much more than online now that e-commerce sites charge sales tax.
This is true even if the store is a national chain. Your neighbors are taking holiday shifts at the big box stores to make a little extra cash as inflation eats away at their regular paychecks.
