Tom Hiddleston On Dancing At the End of the World in 'The Life of Chuck'

The Loki star breaks down the musical sequence in the “uplifting” apocalypse movie: “There is a profound optimism in this story”

“I burned holes in my shoes,” Hiddleston says. “I was dancing out on the asphalt in Alabama, and by the time we’d finished, you could see my socks through the soles.” It should have been hellish, but the Loki star describes it more in terms of what Fred Astaire famously sang in Top Hat: “Heaven…I’m in heaven.” “It was always really fun,” Hiddleston says.
