Tom Hanks’ wife Rita Wilson decided to entertain herself – and us – with a brilliant rendition of a classic hip hop track while holed up in quarantine.testing positive for coronavirus alongside husband TomAnd understandably, being quarantined in Australia thousands of miles away from home is starting to, well, get to Rita.
In her latest Instagram post, the actress filmed herself casually reading a book before launching into a rap verse from Naughty By Nature’s iconic song Hip Hop Hooray.Rita didn’t miss a beat as she rapped along to the 1992 classic and her followers gave it their seal of approval as they should. Friends star Jennifer Aniston commented: ‘Yessssssss R Greeky!’ while Kris Jenner applauded: ‘OMG Rita I Love you!!!! Please come home!!!!!!!’Jools Holland hailed it a ‘brilliant’ version while Rosanna Arquette left several clapping emojis.
One fan chimed in: ‘GREATEST THING OF ALL TIME!!!! Thanks for this Rita!!!’ and another praised: ‘Day made! Amen sista hahaha.’ Rita has clearly been using her love of music to get her through the challenging times as she earlier created a playlist with song titles using quarantine puns.Tom’s sister shared an update on the Oscar-winner’s health‘[Am I] shocked? No. He’s an actor, not a god [but] medical care in Australia is good,’ Sandra Hanks Benoiton told the Mail Online.
