Hanks, who started his acting career in Cleveland at the Great Lakes Theater Festival, said he’s had “Guardians fever” since 1977.
“I’m honored to return to Cleveland and Progressive Field for the first home game of the Cleveland Guardians era,” Hanks said in a news release.The Guardians home opener is set for April 15 against the San Francisco Giants at 7:10 p.m.
