If you won't listen to your friends, family, or government officials, maybe you'll listen to Tom Hanks: shelter in place
are feeling much better just two weeks after they were diagnosed with the novel coronavirus. On Sunday night the actor posted an update on Twitter, saying the duo have been quarantining and that their health has been steadily improving. He also used his moment to remind people to shelter in place, lest they catch the virus or transmit it to someone else.
“Two weeks after our first symptoms and we feel better,” Hanks wrote. “Sheltering in place works like this: You don’t give it to anyone - You don’t get it from anyone. Common sense, no? Going to take awhile, but if we take care of each other, help where we can, and give up some comforts...this, too, shall pass. We can figure this out. Hanx.”
Wilson, meanwhile, took a slightly different approach to letting the world know she was feeling better. The actor and singer posted a video of herself on Instagram readingand then rapping the entirety of Naughty by Nature’s “Hip Hop Hooray.” All four minutes. Every lyric. Wilson is so committed that she is now the preeminent rapper of the Hanks family;
