It was a teary goodbye between Tom Brady and Robert Kraft.
The former New England Patriots quarterback said Wednesday on"The Howard Stern Show" that he became emotional when he visited the Pats owner's house to inform him that he was leaving after 20 years with the team.
"I went over and said, 'Look, I just want to say I love you and appreciate what we've done and know that we're not going to continue together, but thank you,'" said Brady, who joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a free agent."'Thank you for providing what you have for my family and for my career.
"Yeah, I was crying," Brady said. "I'm a very emotional person. I play with my . I would say I'm very emotional because I have a deep caring of the people I work with." Brady relayed similar gratitude toward his former coach Bill Belichick, whom Brady didn't want to trouble by visiting and informed via a phone call right after the Kraft visit.
