San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw said he had a 'fangirl' moment when Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady signed a ball that he intercepted. The encounter was less pleasant for Brady.
Brady threw for 253 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions, one of which was a beautiful tipped-to-himself play from Greenlaw. With the Bucs down 35-0 with 9:50 left in the third quarter, Greenlaw intercepted Brady's pass intended for Mike Evans. Greenlaw took that ball back to the bench with him and brought it back to the legendary quarterback after the game for his John Hancock.
"It was a great play he made. I’m happy he’s got the ball," Brady said."I wish I didn’t throw it but I’m trying to be a good sport. Because a lot of times I’m not a good sport. I can be a pretty bad sport. In the moment when they get me in the right frame of mind I’m actually a good sport."
