Former MMA star Brendan Schaub goes on x-rated rant about Tom Aspinall needing to change his tactics to secure a fight with Jon Jones
Former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub thinks Tom Aspinall should be more forceful in his pursuit of a fight with Jon Jones ., who owns the proper heavyweight belt and is expected to defend it against former two-time champion Stipe Miocic in November.suggested Aspinall will play a back up role at UFC 309, but Schaub thinks the Englishman should turn down the opportunity that could see him unify the belts in 2024.
"Tom needs to draw a line in the sand. No more Mr. Nice Guy. Back up fighter for Jon v Stipe? Back up these nuts. Can’t be a company man. History has shown us that." Former two-weight UFC champion Daniel Cormier, who was holding the mic for Aspinall, agrees that he should’ve been more forceful in calling out Jones.
