SEREMBAN: Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan says newly-appointed ministers must give their all as the new government is expected to face many"extraordinary" challenges.
The Umno deputy president, who was not named as part of Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's Cabinet, said the future of the Perikatan Nasional government would depend on how well the ministers perform."However, the new government will face challenges which can be described as extraordinary and its fate, future and continuity would rest on Cabinet ministers' performance," he said.
Mohamad said the rakyat should give the Prime Minister and his Cabinet time to serve and prove their ability. On Friday , Mohamad had said the biggest test facing the Perikatan Nasional government's currently is to effectively manage and contain the spread of Covid-19, in addition to the local economy and national security.
Mohamad said the country would have to exhaust all avenues and use whatever resources available to fight the virus.
