A two-year-old boy has died after being pulled from a dam at a property just outside of Lithgow in NSW's Central West.
Emergency services were called to a property on Pipers Flat Road, Portland, about 3pm on Tuesday, following reports of a concern for welfare.The child was in a critical condition and was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being airlifted to Bathurst Hospital where he later died. According to The Daily Telegraph, a crew of emergency services including police, Fire and Rescue NSW representatives and several paramedics were spotted at the home, just off Pipers Flat Rd in Portland. NSW Police were also questioning witnesses at the property, where children’s play toys and bikes were seen scattered across the backyard, The Daily Telegraph have reported.
