Rangers star Todd Cantwell believes six of the best can help the Ibrox side salvage their Treble dreams.
The May 25 clash will pit Clement’s squad against table-toppers Celtic as the top two face off in the end-of-season showpiece for the first time in 22 years. And Cantwell reckons Rangers can rescue this season's aims if they treat the five dates before that Hampden shoot out with the same determined approach.
Gers flew out the traps against the Jambos last Sunday, with Cantwell rolling in Cyriel Dessers for the opener after just five minutes. The former Norwich attacker was the driving force again late on as his surging run through the middle cut the Jambos apart before Dessers netted for a second time. “It was a must-win game against Hearts. We came out and we won it. That’s what was in the plan. The mission was a success. But I won’t be getting carried away. I’m in the team to create and that’s what I did against Hearts. An early goal always helps any team in world football. We got that against Hearts and I think it steadied us.
