GamesIt’s not Tuesday quite yet, but Tuesday’s NYT Mini Crossword puzzle is live, and while it’s not quite as hard as the last couple days, it still has some tricky tricks up its puzzley sleeve. The Mini is, as the description suggests, a much smaller, more bite-sized crossword than the actual New York Times Crossword, and that makes it a fun addition to other smaller games like Wordle, Strands and Spelling Bee.
I skipped all of the ACROSS today and went for the first word I was totally certain of, 2-DOWN after which I quickly filled in 8-Across and 9-Across . At this point I was certain enough to type in INDIE for 7-Across and ADAMS for 1-ACROSS which solved most of the puzzle for me. The one I really didn’t know was 3-DOWN but once I finished 6-ACROSS with SAUCE, AUDRA filled in itself. I took 1 minute and 28 seconds to finish today’s Mini.
If you also play Wordle, I write guides about that as well. You can find those and all my TV guides, reviews and much moreOur community is about connecting people through open and thoughtful conversations. We want our readers to share their views and exchange ideas and facts in a safe space.
