SAN ANTONIO - A custody hearing is set for Tuesday afternoon involving murder suspect Brad Simpson and his children.
Brad Simpson was indicted on several felony charges, including murder, in connection with his wife Suzanne's disappearance.Suzanne has not been seen since Oct. 6 outside her Olmos Park home where she was seen fighting with her husband, Brad Simpson. Recently, Suzanne's DNA was discovered on a motorized saw, which has allowed prosecutors to pursue a murder case without her body.Today's hearing will involve custody of Brad's two youngest children.
Judge Joel Perez ruled in December 2024 that Brad Simpson could have limited contact with some of his children. The couple's 5-year-old daughter, who court documents indicate witnessed her mother being harmed, will continue to have no contact with her father. Their 15-year-old son will be permitted to exchange letters with his father, provided they are inspected, as the child expressed a desire to communicate.
