The new record was announced today by producer Scott Rudin. The record-setting number was made during Week 4 of the newThe overall record holder for any play isgrossed $2,525,850 for the week ending Dec. 30, 2018.‘s cumulative grosses to date stand at more than $58 million. The production recouped its investment 19 weeks after opening on December 13, 2018. Since performances began November 1, 2018, attendance at the Shubert has been at capacity for every performance.
