The Tires Season 2 cast has tapped a new cast member, who will be joining the upcoming season of the hit Netflix comedy.
Church is set to portray the role of Phil, who’s being described as “Shane’s wealthy but immature father. A grown-up version of Shane, Phil enjoys owning various businesses in Florida where he resides, throwing back margaritas and flirting with waitresses.” This marks Church’s latest TV project, after starring in last year’s Peacock adaptation of Twisted Metal.
“After the unexpected success of their big marketing idea, Will and Shane rush to grow personally and professionally without fully realizing the cost of doing business,” reads the logline for Season 2. The comedy series is executive produced by Gillis, Gerben, McKeever, Brandon James, Brian Stern, Kenneth Slotnick, and Becky Astphan, with McKeever set as the director. Besides the upcoming second season, Gillis will also next be seen in his new stand-up special for Netflix which will dropped around 2025.Maggie Dela Paz has been writing about the movie and TV industry for more than four years now.
