The only problem, he now needs planning permission
A shed in the front garden of a residential property is being used as a food bank for the local community.
The brown shed sits in the front garden of the property, at a size of 8x6 ft, which is lockable and features one window and a gable roof. Before the shed was erected, the property had a set of shelves outside the home with food for people in the local area to take for free. This largely comprised of bread rolls, pasta sauces and tins of soup, with a label that read: "Free bread and vegetable available. Please take only if you need it.
In the applications, the details of advice prior to the submission states that a planning application was deemed necessary "to retrospectively regularise the development to the front elevation" of the property. It also states that if they apply via a registered charity, the cost may be exempt or reduced.
