A Tinley Park man, Chad Oster, is charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of 30-year-old Lauren Pikor, found by police Friday outside her Oak Forest home.
A Tinley Park man is scheduled to appear in bond court Monday after being charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of an Oak Forest woman, according to police.after police and SWAT forces worked to serve a search warrant at his home, leading to a multiple hour standoff.
She had suffered cuts and stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 11 p.m. Friday, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.Court records show that in late May of this year, Oster was found guilty of domestic battery from March 2021 in Diamond’s Oak Forest home. Oster had, with his fist, struck Pikor, identified as his girlfriend, in the throat, then took her phone and locked her in a room to prevent her from calling police, according to Cook County Circuit Court records.
