Since McDonald's shut its doors more than six weeks ago amid the coronavirus lockdown, fans have been trying their best to recreate their favourite fast food dishes at home, whipping up Big Macs, McChicken Sandwiches and McMuffins.
But now one clever TikTok user has shared a recipe for the chain's popular apple pie, which is so similar to the real thing he joked McDonald's got the recipe from him. Food blogger @caughtsnackin, from London, revealed all you need to do is mix butter, apples, sugar and cinnamon in a pan.To finish, he deep fries the pies in oil at 180 degrees Celsius - adding that alternatively you can bake them too.
He has also been sharing multiple recipes on how to make the bestselling fast food meals. From McMuffins and Starbucks frappes, to KFC and Nandos. For a relatively new account, he is slowly becoming one of the favourite food accounts to follow on the popular app.
